G & T Security was established in 1998 and has grown successful by building a reputation for offering professional, experienced and people-oriented security services. Our business is licensed to operate in Townsville, throughout Queensland and in the greater Australasian region.

Locally owned and operated, we are committed to providing a "community first" culture. We hire locally and are regularly involved in community events and charities. Protecting our community and our people is also a crucial role we play as a business and one we value highly.

We have developed a large clientele base and receive regular referrals due to providing a consistently high standard of security, which is individually tailored to suit each client's specific needs.

Risk management is a major focus of our business, as we believe assessing and identifying risks alleviates security issues arising. We provide our security officers with extensive training to support successful risk management in a variety of environments.

The detailed training we offer is multifaceted. By diversifying the training our security officers receive, we ensure they are better equipped to handle different situations arising. It also enables them to work in a variety of security roles, which is beneficial for our clients.

Our training includes all security staff being Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) certified, ensuring a safe working environment for both our staff and the well-being of all parties on site.

We instill the belief in our security officers that it is vital to have a non-confrontational approach, which is highlighted in our "People for People" company motto. This is why we provide detailed training on customer service, which is critical for our security officers when interacting with clients, staff and the public. Customer service often pacifies a situation, so that it doesn't evolve into confrontation.

In conjunction with intensive training, we also reinforce the importance of professional presentation and client confidentiality. Professional presentation is crucial for our security staff and management to be easily identified, which is why we enforce a strict dress code amongst our security staff and management. Client confidentiality is also an intrinsic part of our business and we safeguard all of our client's personal and business interests.
